Amanita muscaria (fly agaric)
Originally from the northern hemisphere, this large spotty mushroom is now naturalised in the southern hemisphere, including Australia. In places it has become invasive.
Traditionally, fly agaric was used as an insecticide, hence its common name. In recent years it has become a favoured hallucinogen, though not without risks. Fatal poisonings are not common but have occurred. Sickness is not so rare. I’ll be leaving these pretty mushrooms off the menu and in the ground for the fairies to perch on.

glasses slip cases
Our glasses cases have a sturdy canvas outer printed with our own designs. They are lined inside and feature a padded layer to provide protection for your glasses cases while taking up much less room in your bag than a hard carry case.
They fit most glasses, being 10cm across and around 20cm tall.
They're durable and washable and customers report the fun bright prints make them easy to find in your bag.
Handmade with love
Every fabric used in our glasses cases is designed by Boo at Susurrus Studio in Darwin River, located an hour south of Darwin in the hot tropics of Australia. Boo draws much of her inspiration from her bush environment, especially the birds and flora of the Top End and across Australia.
The fabrics are printed with care in Sydney. When they arrive, Boo steps away from the design table and leans into the sewing machine to hand craft each item.
