Sulphur crested cockatoo and Eucalyptus polyanthemos (red box)
The lovable larrakin of the Australian bush, the sulphur crested cockatoo is widespread from South Australia around the east coast to the north-east of Western Australia. Loud and playful, curious and intelligent, these birds are quite happy to have a little dance or do loop-the-loops while hanging onto an electric wire and they teach each other their latest tricks. One collective noun for sulphur crested cockatoos is a 'crackle'.
Sulphur crested cockatoos love all kinds of eucalyptus trees. The red box is a medium sized eucalyptus that grows predominantly in Victoria and New South Wales. It has clusters of pale flowers, flaky bark and egg-shaped leaves.

Our glasses cases have a sturdy canvas outer printed with our own designs. They are lined inside and feature a padded layer to provide protection for your glasses cases while taking up much less room in your bag than a hard carry case.
They fit most glasses, being 10cm across and around 20cm tall.
They're durable and washable and customers report the fun bright prints make them easy to find in your bag.
Handmade with love
Every fabric used in our glasses cases is designed by Boo at Susurrus Studio in Darwin River, located an hour south of Darwin in the hot tropics of Australia. Boo draws much of her inspiration from her bush environment, especially the birds and flora of the Top End and across Australia.
The fabrics are printed with care in Sydney. When they arrive, Boo steps away from the design table and leans into the sewing machine to hand craft each item.
