Chestnut breasted mannikin
The chestnut-breasted mannikin is a social bird that forms large flocks during the non-breeding season, sometimes associating with other species of finches. They forage in groups, climbing the stems of grasses to pick seeds direct from the seed heads, rarely eating seeds that have fallen to the ground. Chestnut-breasted mannikins take up residence in grasslands, mangroves and reedbeds around water, building ovoid nests from grass, concealed low down amongst long grasses or reeds.

glasses slip cases
Our glasses cases have a sturdy canvas outer printed with our own designs. They are lined inside and feature a padded layer to provide protection for your glasses cases while taking up much less room in your bag than a hard carry case.
They fit most glasses, being 10cm across and around 20cm tall.
They're durable and washable and customers report the fun bright prints make them easy to find in your bag.
Handmade with love
Every fabric used in our glasses cases is designed by Boo at Susurrus Studio in Darwin River, located an hour south of Darwin in the hot tropics of Australia. Boo draws much of her inspiration from her bush environment, especially the birds and flora of the Top End and across Australia.
The fabrics are printed with care in Sydney. When they arrive, Boo steps away from the design table and leans into the sewing machine to hand craft each item.
