Black bittern and black catfish
The black bittern is a keen fisher with a neck like a periscope that can be retracted or stretched right out for a really good view. They are shy and secretive birds that spend a lot of time waiting for their dinner, which they spear with their sharp bills. They build platform nests in trees over water.
The black catfish is an eel tailed freshwater catfish (that doesn’t really leap out of the water). They have poisonous spines but no scales. The sensory barbels that look like whiskers around their mouths are what give all catfish their name.

glasses slip cases
Our glasses cases have a sturdy canvas outer printed with our own designs. They are fully lined and feature a padded layer to provide protection for your glasses cases while taking up much less room in your bag than a hard carry case.
They fit most glasses, being 10cm across and around 20cm tall.
They're durable and washable and customers report the fun bright prints make them easy to find in your bag.
Handmade with love
Every fabric used in our glasses cases is designed by Boo at Susurrus Studio in Darwin River, located an hour south of Darwin in the hot tropics of Australia. Boo draws much of her inspiration from her bush environment, especially the birds and flora of the Top End and across Australia.
The fabrics are printed with care in Sydney. When they arrive, Boo steps away from the design table and leans into the sewing machine to hand craft each item.
