Red-tailed black cockatoo
These noisy residents of the Australian bush move around to find the sweetest treats, preferring seeds, fruit, berries, nectar and flowers to insects or larvae. They spend most of their lives high in trees and nest in tree hollows, which they enter tail first.
There are five subspecies occurring across Australia.
This design is based on an actual pair of cockatoos, Bill and Minnie (Minnie is on the left). They lived at the Territory Wildlife Park at Berry Springs for many years but recently retired to live in comfort away from the busy park.

glasses slip cases
Our glasses cases have a sturdy canvas outer printed with our own designs. They are lined inside and feature a padded layer to provide protection for your glasses cases while taking up much less room in your bag than a hard carry case.
They fit most glasses, being 10cm across and around 20cm tall.
They're durable and washable and customers report the fun bright prints make them easy to find in your bag.
Handmade with love
Every fabric used in our glasses cases is designed by Boo at Susurrus Studio in Darwin River, located an hour south of Darwin in the hot tropics of Australia. Boo draws much of her inspiration from her bush environment, especially the birds and flora of the Top End and across Australia.
The fabrics are printed with care in Sydney. When they arrive, Boo steps away from the design table and leans into the sewing machine to hand craft each item.
